Jeryl Anderson

Jeryl Anderson, a retired Recruitment and Outreach Coordinator for Orange County Emergency Services, has over 30 years of experience in public safety emergency communications. A certified instructor since the 1990s, she has extensive experience in curriculum and testing development, as well as online course development and implementation. Jeryl helped develop the Telecommunicator Certification Course for North Carolina Telecommunicators and served as a Criminal Justice Instructor Coordinator at the NC Justice Academy.

Jeryl is an experienced online instructor, conference speaker, and event coordinator. She holds RPL, CPE, and ENP certifications and is a Senior Member of APCO, where she has been a member for 27 years. She also serves as an Adjunct Instructor for the APCO Institute and on the NC Chapter of APCO’s Board.
Jeryl is an active member of the Durham Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and a Girl Scout volunteer of over 20 years.
