About the Course
In this course, Chief Joe Quave explores the multifaceted nature of leadership in law enforcement and its direct impact on officer safety. He will define leadership, emphasizing influence over rank, and the importance of accountability at all levels; cover key contributors to officer safety, including mindset, tactics, and equipment; and discuss balanced leadership decisions, continuous improvement, and personal development for all officers.

Police Chief - Picayune, MS
Joe Quave has over 23 years of law enforcement experience. He began his career as a corrections officer with the Picayune Police Department and later attended the law enforcement academy in Long Beach. Throughout his career, Quave has received extensive training, including certification as a state instructor, firearms training, and completion of the FBI National Academy.
