Train the Trainer for 9-1-1 Professionals

This intensive 8-hour in-person training program is specifically designed to equip 9-1-1 professionals with the essential skills and knowledge to become effective and Communications Training Officers (CTOs) within the Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) environment. Participants will learn the fundamentals of adult learning principles, instructional design tailored to 9-1-1 communications, presentation techniques, and evaluation methods. This course focuses on developing the competencies needed to design, deliver, and evaluate engaging and impactful training sessions relevant to call handling, dispatch protocols, technology use, and stress management within the 9-1-1 center. Through interactive exercises, group discussions, and practical application activities using real-world 9-1-1 scenarios, participants will gain the confidence and expertise to train others effectively within the critical 9-1-1 setting.
