About the Course

Suicide touches every corner of public safety—dispatchers, first responders, and the communities they serve. Behind every statistic is a story of pain, survival, and hope.

Zero Suicide Kits: A Hands-On Workshop blends an empowering, story-driven presentation with a practical, service-oriented activity. Participants will learn how to recognize the ripple effect of suicide, understand their unique role in prevention, and engage in a hands-on project—assembling Zero Suicide Kits designed for both community outreach and responder wellness.

This workshop transforms awareness into action, giving participants the tools, language, and confidence to foster connection, reduce stigma, and bring tangible hope to those in crisis
