Marsy's Law and Victim Rights

This course covers Marcy's Law and victim rights in Ohio. Lt. Shawn Parker will discuss the importance of understanding and providing victims with their constitutional and statutory rights, including information, notification, and support services. The course includes pre-assessments, sections on definitions, statutory requirements, and victim identification. It also addresses the psychological effects of trauma and the officer's role in providing fair and respectful treatment.
